Our red Medina sandstone was first mined in Medina, New York, starting around 1837. This stone traveled via the Erie Canal and railroad, reaching as far as England, where it's featured in Buckingham Palace. You can also find it in the Brooklyn Bridge and the New York State Capitol staircase. The original quarry flooded in the late 1990s, making this stone truly finite and historically significant. Each piece carries a legacy of resilience and grand design.
